The Dorking Group of Artists Annual Spring Exhibition Saturday 29th April to Monday 1st May

At Betchworth Village Hall, Station Road, Betchworth

Time: 10.00am – 6.00pm, closes 4.00pm on Monday 1st May The Dorking Group of Artists will be exhibiting over 250 pieces of new and original art, all for sale at affordable prices. The paintings will appeal to all tastes, featuring different subjects and styles and a wide variety of prices and media. Unframed paintings will be for sale too

Charity Italian opera evening Saturday 6th May

At St. Paul’s Church, St. Paul’s Road, West, Dorking

Time: 7:30pm – 9:30pm (doors at 7pm) A fundraising evening of Italian opera favourites including beautiful arias and songs by Mozart, Puccini, Handel and more. Insights into the pieces, their lyrics and composers from Matteo Dalle Fratte, Italian Coach at the Royal Opera House. With 17 international singers and pianists. Wine, refreshments and a raffle with some wonderful prizes. In aid of refugee support charities Migrant Offshore Aid Station, an organisation carrying out search and rescue operations in the Mediterranean Sea, and Anaya Aid, a UK based humanitarian organisation providing aid inside Syria.

Cost: £12 in advance (£6 under 16s) / £15 on the door (£7.50 under 16s)

Learn to dance the Lindy Hop Ongoing classes every Tuesday evening
